The busy world of lectures did not become an obstacle for Universitas Airlangga delegation team to continue to achieve achievements.

The 2019 Accounting Olympiad is an annual event organized by the Accounting Student Association of STIE YKPN Yogyakarta. This year's Accounting Olympiad carries the theme "Raise Your Abilities to Be a Professional Accountant," with the hope that through this Olympiad, we can develop the accounting profession and build public trust.

This activity was attended by several teams from various universities, namely Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta State University, STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University, and Yogyakarta Technology University. Praise be to God Almighty, Universitas Airlangga delegation team consisting of Tanaya Devi Kemala Agni (Accounting 2016), Fince Layadi (Accounting 2016), and Patrick Aloysius Wijaya (Accounting 2016) succeeded in winning 1st place in the 2019 Accounting Olympiad.

The event, held on Sunday, May 12, 2019, consisted of several events: preliminary rounds, semifinals, and the final. After the preliminary rounds, four teams were selected to advance to the semifinals and finals. The semifinals featured an open debate, followed by the final round, a quiz competition.

Hopefully, the achievements that have been achieved can bring honor to the name of Universitas Airlangga and become an inspiration for Universitas Airlangga students in the next competition.
