Accounting Fair 2018

The Accounting Fair is one of the events held by the Intellectual Division of the Accounting Student Association, Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University. The Accounting Fair is also a series of events divided into two sub-events: Interview Training and Audit Training, themed "Pursuit of Excellence." The goal of the Accounting Fair is to help students prepare for the job search process, particularly during job interviews, and to help them understand auditing practices.

Interview Training
Interview Training was held on Friday, September 21, 2018 starting at 08.30 – 11.30 at the Soepoyo hall, 3rd floor of FEB UNAIR. This year's interview training had a registration fee of Rp15,000.00. This event was attended by approximately 30 participants. The first session was filled by a speaker named Mr. Dr. Anak Agung Gede T.Ak., CA., CPA. He currently serves as Senior Manager of Ernst & Young's Assurance Services. Mr. Agung conducted a session sharing experiences starting from his career journey to becoming an experienced auditor and what students need to prepare in applying for jobs to public accounting firms, especially leading public accounting firms such as Ernst & Young. The second speaker was Dra. I. Novianingtyastuti, Psychologist., Director of PT Magnet Solusi Integra, she explained tips and tricks for dealing with interviewers well and conducted a job interview simulation with a participant. This time, the Interview Training was very dynamic with two-way communication between the presenter and participants through a question and answer session and interview simulation. At the end of the event, a plaque awarding session was held.
 
Audit Training
Audit Training was held on Monday, September 24, 2018 and Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at 08.30 – 15.00 Audit Training was held in the Mindrowo hall FEB UNAIR, on the first day of the event was attended by 27 participants. This year's audit training had a registration fee of Rp. 35,000.00. While this event was filled by speakers from the Indonesian Institute of Public Accountants (IAPI) East Java which was represented by 3 speakers. The first session was a session of delivering initial theoretical material on auditing principles and procedures by Imelda Catherine Malonda, SE., MM., Ak., CPA., CA., CPI. After the break, the session continued with starting the practice of auditing sales and receivables collection presented by Mr. Bayu Nurcahyo A., Se., MSA., Ak., CA., CPA and Mr. Mulyadi Wonoraharjo, SE., Msi., Ak., CPA. This session was conducted by working on audit practice on the module and the official ATLAS application from the Ministry of Finance that had been given to participants. The first day ended at 3:00 PM and continued on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. The second day began at 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM which contained a follow-up session on the previous audit practice given by Mr. Bayu Nurcahyo and Mr. Mulyadi Wonoraharjo.
