Youth are the next generation of the nation's development struggle. There are many examples of young people who have successfully built and contributed to their nation in their own ways. This is also the case with today's youth, especially those who are members of the AcSES ( Association of Sharia Economic Studies ) student organization, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . As a means to achieve this goal, AcSES holds KAFILAH (Fiqh Muamalah Study), a study that discusses things that occur in the economic sector from an Islamic perspective. During the 2017-2018 management period, AcSES has held 5 (five) studies held at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga .

The first KAFILAH was held on March 9, 2018. The study, which took place in the Mindrowo Hall, FEB, UNAIR, raised the theme "Obedience to Zakat is a Reflection of a Great People". The study, which was presented by Dr. Imron Mawardi (Lecturer of Islamic Economics, FEB UNAIR), explained the influence of zakat in the context of human development if implemented properly. If zakat can become a source of APBN, then this will help the government's enormous expenditure in alleviating poverty in society, not only that, zakat can also solve other macro and micro problems in this country if managed well and appropriately.

On April 13, 2018, the second KAFILAH was held again with an extraordinary speaker, Dr. Imron Mawardi as the speaker with the theme "Challenges of Sharia Fintech in Indonesia". Held in the Mindrowo Hall, this KAFILAH discussed the latest issues, namely financial transactions through financial technology (fintech), then the development of fintech in Indonesia and the world, as well as the role of sharia-based fintech in Indonesia in the successful use of fintech.

Furthermore, the third KAFILAH was held on May 15, 2018, at the Soepoyo Hall. In collaboration with the National FoSSEI (Islamic Economics Study Silaturrahmi Forum) with the title Amil Goes to Campus, this time Amil Goes to Campus sought to provide knowledge and understanding regarding the profession of amil (zakat colassistant professor) to students, including how the future prospects and showing the potential where students can be involved. Amil Goes to Campus presented several speakers, including Agung Wicaksono (FoSSEI National Presidium), Drs. Syamsul Bahri (Head of the East Java Ministry of Religious Affairs Regional Office), Abdul Ghofur (Director of Mandiri Amal Insani), and Rizki Okto Priansyah (Executive Director of the BSM National Zakat Amil Institution).

Then, on September 7, 2018, the fourth KAFILAH was held with the theme "Understanding Sharia Insurance in the Millennial Era" in room 316. The speaker was no less interesting, Iis Rofiatin (Secretary of Development of FoSSEI Regional East Java 2010 - 2011) was present and willing to share her knowledge with KAFILAH participants. She introduced the importance of having insurance in life, especially in the event of an unexpected accident. In addition, KAFILAH participants were also invited to plan their finances for future needs, including a simple financial planning simulation that is very easy to try and practice.

As the closing of the 2018 KAFILAH, AcSES presented this study again on October 19, 2018. Presenting Tegar Rismanuar Nurnyitmawan (Islamic banking practitioner and AcSES alumnus), the final KAFILAH carried the theme "Becoming a Young Pioneer of Sharia Transactions."
