AcSES FEB UNAIR Scientific Writing Study Group

AcSES is an organization engaged in the field of reasoning, accommodating all members or known as AcSESORs in the field of writing. The Scientific Writing Study Group (KBKTI) is one of the AcSES work programs, especially the Research and Paper division, which facilitates AcSESORs in studying scientific writing, both essays and papers, because in college it is very important for us to study scientific writing that can later be useful for ourselves and especially society.

This period of KBKTI is held every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday which takes place in the GKM hall or in the RBC discussion room at 15.30 to 17.00 WIB with speakers from AcSESOR but from the higher class, who already have a lot of experience in the field of writing scientific papers.

There is no need to doubt the ability of the KBKTI material providers themselves, because before the Scientific Paper Study Group session was held, there was a Training of Trainers agenda which was held to prepare prospective mentors or material providers. It is hoped that with this TOT there will also be continuity for the next generation to become material providers at KBKTI.

The Scientific Writing Study Group was held from the beginning to the end of the management, the hope for this KBKTI itself is that the AcSESORs have knowledge about scientific writing such as essays and papers, many AcSESORs who hone their knowledge after participating in this KBKTI participate in competitions both at regional and national levels. Before participating in external competitions (outside the scope of the Faculty of Economics and Business) of course the AcSES RnP Team has an important agenda that is an indicator of the success of the KBKTI, namely the Internal Essay Competition (IEC). IEC is a forum for AcSESORs to compete in essay competitions at the AcSES level itself, as provisions and initial experience before trying competitions outside AcSES so that they will be better prepared to participate in competitions.

In session 1 (first) the Internal Essay Competition was held with 4 finalists, the presentation session was held in the FEB Reading Room discussion room on August 24, 2018 at 09.00 to 11.00. In this presentation session, only 3 winners were selected with the results of 1st place by the Yunita Rahmawati team (Islamic Economics 2016), 2nd place by the Jannatika team (Accounting 2017), 3rd place by the Maratus Sholikah team (Islamic Economics 2017).
