Preparing oneself before a competition is crucial. Therefore, AcSES, the FEB reasoning student association (UKMF) held PILAR as an internal competition for AcSESORs before they compete outside the campus. This activity is a means to solidify AcSES FEB UNAIR's steps to continuously accelerate both in terms of providing an overview of the competitive conditions in achieving an achievement. It is hoped that through this activity, all AcSESORs can actively contribute in producing achievements that make AcSES, FEB UNAIR, UNAIR, and especially Indonesia proud.

This year, PILAR was held on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Mindrowo Hall, FEB UNAIR. Starting from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This year's PILAR was packaged like an Islamic Economics Olympiad competition with a series of events starting from essay submission, working on questions, and essay presentation. Attended by 12 participants (6 teams), PILAR was tense yet exciting. Each participant was very serious in working on the written test and enthusiastic in presenting their essays.

"Alhamdulillah, with PILAR, I was able to experience the atmosphere of an Islamic economics olympiad competition that includes essay presentations. It turned out to be quite thrilling to present, as I had to speak in front of everyone. The judges were also very good at providing motivation and advice to the participants on how to develop their essays," said Husnul, a PILAR 2019 participant.

Although PILAR is an internal AcSES competition, there are still winners. The winners were announced at the AcSES anniversary in the afternoon at the Ikhwan Hall of the Nuruzzaman Mosque. First place went to M. Indra Maulana R. (EKIS 17) and Dewi Rahmawati M. (EKIS 17).

"We hope that next year's PILAR will see more participants and more enthusiasm for participating in other competitions. Hopefully, the knowledge gained at PILAR will be beneficial," said Zahro Ubaydilla, secretary of the Science Division.
