Peace be upon you, peace be upon you, AcSESOR 2025
In making a significant contribution to achieving various sustainable development goals, we from the Science Division are proud to invite all AcSESORs and students to broaden their horizons and improve their abilities through one of our flagship programs, namely AGA (AcSES Goes Abroad). Topics that will be raised in this AGA activity include workshops and experience sharing sessions with alumni who have studied abroad, as well as intensive guidance regarding the application process to international universities.
This activity is closely related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 1, namely Poverty Alleviation, because AGA opens access for students to quality education abroad. With intensive guidance and improvement of English skills, AGA participants have a greater opportunity to obtain scholarships and access to higher education that may have previously been unaffordable, so that it can be one way to break the chain of poverty through education.
In addition, AGA also supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 1, namely Reducing Inequality. Through this program, we strive to create equal opportunities for all students, regardless of their socio-economic background. By providing access to information, training, and support for the study abroad process, AGA serves as an inclusive platform that enables all participants to compete globally, reduces the gap in access to international education, and promotes social mobility.
Thus, AGA is not only a self-development program for students, but also a concrete step towards realizing fairer education and equitable global opportunities. AGA participants are expected to become agents of change, ready to contribute internationally with a spirit of inclusivity, equality, and sustainability.
