Upgrading Sector is an annual activity of the LPPM Sector FEB UNAIR as an inauguration event for new students who officially become a new member of the sector and as a form of submission of positions from the old management to the new management. This upgrading was held at Villa New Bukit Sengkaling on Friday-Sunday? 26-28 October 2018. Upgrading the 2018 period carries the theme "Exploring Sensitivity of the World" where in the present era the sensitivity of the surrounding world has decreased. So that with this goal it is expected that upgrading participants can be more sensitive to the world around.

Upgrading which can also be referred to as natural training is a form of implementation of the training training, as a concrete action to enter the field. So that a journalist is able to feel the real practice and be able to do his duties as a field journalist. Upgrading 2018 chose the object of the "terminal" place. Where there are also mandatory tasks for new members of the sector in natural training, namely interviews and presentations using as creative as possible with the sub theme 'greeting natives' and 'pitting empathy' as output of writing and works.
