Upgrading the Sector is an annual activity of the LPPM Sector FEB Unair as an inauguration event for new students who officially become new members of the Sector and as a form of handing over positions from the old management to the new management. This upgrade was held at Villa New Bukit Sengkaling on Friday-Sunday? 26-28 October 2018. The 2018 upgrading period carries the theme "Exploring Sensitivity to the World Around" where in the current era the tension of sensitivity to the world around us has decreased. So with this goal, it is hoped that upgrading participants will be more sensitive to the world around them.
Upgrading, which can also be called natural training, is a form of implementation of spatial training, as a real action in the field. So that a journalist is able to experience real practice and is able to carry out his duties as a field journalist. Upgrading 2018 selects the "Terminal" place object. Where there are mandatory tasks for new members of the Sector in nature training, namely interviews and presentations using as creative media as possible with the sub-themes 'Greeting Natives' and 'Complaining about Empathy' as written and work output. Apart from that, this event also has games which are also included in the theme of sensitivity and care. So it can bring significant sensitivity to life.
In this event, assessments are given by old or senior sector members who have experience in their field. So you can know the indicators of success and how much output you can bring to the sector in the future.
