Entrepreneurship skills are currently one of the skills most needed by human resources (HR) in the Industrial Era 4.0. Entrepreneurship is a process and not an independent activity but an activity that continues continuously (Nusantoro, 2002). This process is in the form of planning, organizing, operating and taking risks of a business venture (Griffin, 2004). In this very dynamic era, human resources are also required to have creativity and an innovative mindset. Entrepreneurship skills have a lot of influence on individuals, such as the ability to think creatively, communicate and make decisions. Entrepreneurs also have many important roles in the development of a country's economy, such as increasing employment opportunities, overcoming unemployment, and creating new innovations that are useful to society.
Currently, many startups are emerging with creative and innovative ideas, but are forced to close down because they are not yet competent in overcoming challenges and taking advantage of existing opportunities. Apart from that, most of them do not have discussion partners or business mentors to formulate ideas and solve their business problems. Mentoring is a means of supporting young entrepreneurs by providing mentors and assistance in solving problems, providing useful insight in running a start-up business by learning from the experience of previous mentors. Mentoring is useful for providing opportunities for development, providing personal support and motivation where the relationship between the mentor and his students is a profitable relationship. Therefore, HIMA Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga is holding an Entrepreneur Class with the theme "Crafting a Marketing Strategy that Drives Business Success" which is a workshop and business mentoring for entrepreneurs in Indonesia which aims to develop their entrepreneurship skills. the participants.
