The Internal Workshop is one of the work programs of the Entrepreneurship Department Universitas Airlangga Development Economics Student Association which is a forum for students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University to provide knowledge and training regarding the systematics of writing business plan proposals. The Internal Workshop participants consist of 2-3 members per group accompanied by each mentor who is competent in the field of writing business plans.
The Internal Workshop carries the theme "Youngpreneur in the Millennial Era" which has been held in stages over 3 meetings. The first meeting was held on 20 August 2018, at 16.00 in the Mindrowo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga . In this first session, we invited Sulthan Al Fathir (CEO CV. Polita Nusantara & Founder of YES Institute Indonesia) as our speaker at the Internal Workshop who gave 3 important points in starting a business plan, namely brainstorming, motivation and creating a proposal. Participants were very enthusiastic about receiving material from him. And in the last 5 minutes a sharing session was held with the mentor aimed at providing guidance and controlling the participants.
The second meeting was held on 18 September 2018, at 18.00 in the Mindrowo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga . This time we invited Wachidatul Qomariah (mentor from YES Institute) who provided material on packaging, marketing and branding. At this second meeting the participants already had a concept and description of their product which then at the third meeting would be presented to the two speakers.
The third meeting was held on November 1 2018, at 18.00 in the Mindrowo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga . This time, the participants were guided to create a power point which is usually displayed during business plan competitions. And then present it. Presentations were carried out randomly by 4 groups. And 1 group was taken as the winner in the Best Idea category.
Internal Workshop is a new forum. Therefore, it is hoped that the Internal Workshop can continue to inspire many students and become a means/facilitator that can have a positive impact regarding improving the entrepreneurial spirit and writing business plans.
