CLUB OF SPEAKERS 2022

          Close or Club of Speakers is one of the work programs of the Islamic Economics Student Association Universitas Airlangga. This activity provides training in honing the ability to be brave and active in public speaking and creates a regeneration of MCs and Moderators both within the HIMA EKIS and externally within the wider campus environment. Through this activity, it is hoped that participants will develop the confidence to speak in public and understand how to speak well and correctly. 

          Close 2022 will carry the theme and tagline "Create Your Determination to Break Your Limitations." This offline event will be held over two days, Monday, October 31, 2022, and Tuesday, November 1, 2022. The target audience is new Islamic Economics students from the class of 2022, and the activity is completely free. Speaking of SDGs variables, this activity certainly aligns with SDG value number 4 regarding quality education. Because education is not only in the classroom, but this HIMA activity is also a form of character education for students, to train students' understanding in problem solving, responding to various issues, and innovating in various activities within it. Especially entering the Era of Society 5.0, public speaking skills are a primary requirement for the development of human resources (HR) in society. We are required to be able to convey information in a structured, clear, and easily understood by others. The importance of research and mastery of the material so that messages or ideas can be conveyed appropriately.
