CLUB OF SPEAKERS 2022
Close or Club of Speakers is one of the work programs of the Universitas Airlangga Islamic Economics Student Association. This activity provides training in honing the ability to be brave and active in public speaking and creates regeneration in MCs and Moderators both internally at HIMA EKIS and externally in the wider campus environment. With this activity, it is hoped that participants will have the confidence to speak in public and understand how to speak well and correctly.
At Close 2022 this time it will carry the theme and tagline "Create Your Determination to Break Your Limitation." This event is held offline for two days, namely Monday, October 31 2022 and Tuesday, November 1 2022. The target of this event is new Islamic Economics students class of 2022 and this activity is free of charge at all. Talking about SDGs variables, of course this activity is in accordance with SDGs value number 4 regarding quality education. Because education is not only in lecture classes, but HIMA activities are also a form of student character education, in order to train students' understanding in solving problems, responding to various problems and innovating in various activities therein. Moreover, entering the Era of Society 5.0, public speaking skills have become the main requirement for the formation of human resources (HR) in society. We are required to be able to convey information that is structured, clear and easy for other people to understand. The importance of research and mastering the material so that messages or ideas can be transferred correctly.
