IQTISHODUNA is the largest work program in the Islamic Economics Student Association, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga. IQTISHODUNA 2018 has 3 (three) sub-events, namely the Islamic Economics Olympiad (SEO), Seminar and Call for Paper (SCFP), and Sharia Fair (SF).
The IQTISHODUNA program is organized by Islamic Economics students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga. It is aimed at all levels, from high school students and college students to the general public, to introduce the Islamic Economics Study Program.
So the 3 (three) sub-events contained in IQTISHODUNA were held in several places, the Islamic Economics Olympiad (SEO) and Seminar and Call For Paper (SCFP) were held at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga , where in a series of events a field trip was held by visiting monumental places in Surabaya such as the Heroes Monument, Javalaseva Jayamahe, etc. Meanwhile, the Sharia Fair (SF) was held at the Royal Plaza Surabaya.
- Islamic Economics Olympiad (SEO)
The Islamic Economics Olympiad (SEO) is a national competition for high school (SMA) and equivalent students across Indonesia. Each team consists of two active students and must be from the same school. Prior to the online preliminary round in August, two tryouts will be held, one in May and the other in August. The tryouts will be conducted online. The preliminary round will also be held online in August.
During the online preliminary round, only the top 50 teams will advance to the next round in Surabaya. Participants will then compete for first, second, third, and second place. Prizes include certificates, medals, trophies, and cash. After the competition, participants will go on a field trip to several famous locations in Surabaya. The winners will be announced at the culmination of the IQTISHODUNA event.
- Seminar and Call For Paper (SCFP)
This activity is divided into two, namely Call For Paper and National Seminar is a national level Islamic economics scientific paper competition for active D3 or S1 students throughout Indonesia. The procedure for registration for this competition is by filling out the registration form provided by the committee along with its provisions and is free of charge. Participants consist of one team, one team consists of a maximum of three people (individuals are allowed). For the initial selection stage, each team is asked to send an Abstract first to the committee for selection by the jury. It is mandatory to send a full paper to the committee if the abstract is declared passed by the jury and 10 finalists will be selected with the paper who are then required to present paper in front of 3 judges and an audience. Selected participants will be charged a registration fee allocated for accommodation while in Surabaya. The next round is the semifinals consisting of 5 selected teams to compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. In this semifinal, each participant will be given a Study case to then present their analysis related to Study case in front of three judges and other finalists. The Call For Paper (CFP) event was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . The National Seminar is a follow-up to the Call for Papers, aiming to examine Islamic economics by Islamic economics experts. Participants in this seminar are the general public and the finalists of the Call for Papers. The National Seminar will feature speakers from Islamic economics academics, practitioners, and policymakers. Before the seminar concludes, the winners of the Call for Papers : first, second, third, first runner-up, and second runner-up.
- Sharia Fair (SF)
Sharia Fair 2018 as the closing of a series of IQTISHODUNA events which is an annual event of HIMA Islamic Economics Universitas Airlangga also as a product expo event from various Islamic Financial Institutions, it is hoped that HIMA Islamic Economics can establish cooperation and foster friendship between companies, Islamic Financial Institutions, and students of Islamic Economics Universitas Airlangga. The concept of the event is a product display from companies (bazaar) and companies provide information to the public so that they know how far sharia companies have developed and it is hoped that companies can establish relationships with HIMA EKIS FEB UNAIR if they collaborate or information about job vacancies in their companies that participate in helping graduates from the Department of Islamic Economics Universitas Airlangga.
