The Accounting Knowing Better (AKB) seminar is a seminar specifically designed for new Accounting students Universitas Airlangga to introduce them to the world of accounting. To further strengthen the purpose of this AKB seminar, we propose a rationale embodied in the theme "Improve Yourself to be a Professional Accountant in the New Era." This theme can support the running of this seminar with the essence and expected outputs in addition to achieving the general objectives of AKB. The theme "Improve Yourself to be a Professional Accountant in the New Era" simply aims to provide an overview to prospective accountants regarding changing conditions where work experience and the current job description of accountants must adapt to this new era, also requiring an accountant to have competencies in the digital era by utilizing technology. Therefore, this theme is not only relevant to the AKB's goal of introducing new students to UNAIR Accounting, this theme will also automatically provide a mindset that they are faced with a new era, namely the digital era, which is almost entirely associated with technology.
