Business Awarding and Seminar or usually abbreviated as BASE is one of the Business Department's work programs which aims to give appreciation to FEB UNAIR studentpreneurs who excel in their fields. This BASE was held twice. First, on September 14 2018, BASE collaborated with the Department of Science, Department of Arts and Sports, and Department of Human Resources and Human Resources which was packaged in the 2018 FEB Student Award (FSA) event to give awards to outstanding FEB UNAIR students. The categories themselves are divided into 3, namely The Best Business Planner, Entrepreneur of the Year, and Product of the Year.

This awarding night was held in conjunction with the FEB UNAIR Dean's Cup Closing which took place at DBL Arena Surabaya. Yasinta Suci, a 2015 Islamic Economics student, succeeded in winning the Best Business Planner category with her international achievements with the title of Best Entrepreneurial Idea in the YouCEO event organized by Youth Connect Entrepreneurs. Yasinta also has the Alaika business brand, namely the scrapbook craft business that she is currently involved in. Meanwhile, the Entrepreneur of the Year category was won by Farhan Vidi Amanullah, a 2015 Management student, whose business is IHTIAR JAYA which operates in the furniture sector. And finally, Loebby Adama, a 2016 Management student, managed to win Product of the Year with his business, KPK Coffee Loeb, which sells delicious tasting coffee.

In the second event, the Business Department also collaborated with activities carried out by HIMA Master of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, UNAIR, namely the Double Leadership Forum. This activity was carried out because it aims to increase the insight and entrepreneurial spirit of the younger generation. Not only students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga , but students from other faculties and the general public can also take part in this activity at the Dyandra Convention Center, Surabaya.

The activity which was held on September 26 2018 was divided into 2 sessions, namely the first session was the Spiritual Leaders Forum and the second session was the Inspirational Leaders Forum. In the first session, we invited Prof. Dr. Moh. Nasih, SE., MT., Ak. as the keynote speaker for this event as Chancellor of Universitas Airlangga . Apart from that, we also brought in the Main Director of BNI Syariah and Indonesian Education Quality, Chair of the Yatim Mandiri Trustees, Chair of STIDKI Ar Rahmah, and KPS MM FEB UNAIR namely Dr. Gancar C. Premananto, M.Sc. In this first session, the discussion theme was "Preparing Youth Generation The 4th Industrial Evolution" .

"The evolution of industry 4.0 should be anticipated by preparing the nation's young generation as early as possible with strong spiritual values," said Dr. Gancar C. Premananto, as KPS MM FEB UNAIR, in his speech.

Meanwhile, the theme raised during the second session, the Inspirational Leaders Forum, was "Innovation and Transformation in The 4th Industrial Evolution" . In this second session, we invited the CEO of T-Cash, Main Director of PT. PJB, Regional CEO of Bank BNI, CEO of Blibli.com, and Regional VP of Gojek Indonesia. The enthusiasm of the participants was very visible. There were more than 300 participants who attended this event. It is hoped that this event can help students prepare themselves for the 4th Industrial Evolution, especially in terms of business
