
Business Awarding and Seminar, commonly abbreviated as BASE, is one of the Department of Business's work programs aimed at providing appreciation to FEB UNAIR studentpreneurs who excel in their fields. BASE was held twice. First, on September 14, 2018, BASE collaborated with the Department of Science, the Department of Arts and Sports, and the Department of Human Resources Development, which was packaged in the 2018 FEB Student Award (FSA) event to give awards to outstanding FEB UNAIR students. The categories themselves are divided into 3, namely The Best Business Planner, Entrepreneur of the Year, and Product of the Year.

This awarding night was held in conjunction with the Closing of the Dean Cup FEB UNAIR which took place at the DBL Arena Surabaya. Yasinta Suci, a 2015 Islamic Economics student, won the Best Business Planner category with her international achievements with the title of Best Entrepreneurial Idea in the YouCEO event organized by Youth Connect Entrepreneurs. Yasinta also has a business brand Alaika, a scrapbook craft business that she is currently working on. Meanwhile, the Entrepreneur of the Year category was won by Farhan Vidi Amanullah, a 2015 Management student, with his business, IHTIAR JAYA, which is engaged in the furniture sector. And finally, Loebby Adama, a 2016 Management student, won the Product of the Year with his business, KPK Coffee Loeb, which sells delicious coffee.

In its second event, the Department of Business also collaborated with the Double Leadership Forum, an activity held by the Student Association of Master of Management (HIMA) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR). This event aimed to broaden the knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit of the younger generation. Not only students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga , but also students from other faculties and the general public were able to participate in this event at the Dyandra Convention Center in Surabaya.
The activity held on September 26, 2018 was divided into 2 sessions, namely the first session was the Spiritual Leaders Forum and the second session was the Inspirational Leaders Forum. In the first session, we invited Prof. Dr. Moh. Nasih, SE., MT., Ak. as the keynote speaker of this event as the Rector Universitas Airlangga . In addition, we also invited the President Director of BNI Syariah and Indonesian Education Quality, Chairman of the Yatim Mandiri Supervisory Board, Chairman of STIDKI Ar Rahmah, and KPS MM FEB UNAIR namely Dr. Gancar C. Premananto, M.Si. In this first session the theme of discussion was "Preparing Youth Generation The 4th Industrial Evolution" .
"The evolution of industry 4.0 should be anticipated by preparing the nation's young generation as early as possible with competent spiritual values," said Dr. Gancar C. Premananto, as Head of MM FEB UNAIR, in his remarks.
Meanwhile, the theme raised during the second session, Inspirational Leaders Forum, was "Innovation and Transformation in The 4th Industrial Evolution" . In this second session, we invited the CEO of T-Cash, the President Director of PT. PJB, the Regional CEO of Bank BNI, the CEO of Blibli.com, and the Regional VP of Gojek Indonesia. The enthusiasm of the participants was very visible. There were more than 300 participants in attendance at this event. It is hoped that this event can help students in preparing themselves for the 4th Industrial Evolution, especially in terms of business.
