EKIS GOES PUBLIC 2020

EGP or Ekis Goes Public is one of the programs launched by the
Public Relations (PR) division in order to introduce Islamic economics to
high school/equivalent students. This work program was carried out as a form of synergy between the public relations division
and the IQTISHODUNA committee and the Arts and Sports Division (SEGA) to participate
in introducing competitions in the academic field and in the sports field as a medium
for preaching Islamic economic values ​​that can be applied in various aspects of life.
The EGP program itself comes with a new innovation, namely via the WhatsApp Group. This
was done as a response to conditions in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic which
required people to #stayathome and all
educational activities were closed. By implementing it online, EGP takes place in 2 Waves.
Wave 1 was focused as a form of first experiment and to find out how
enthusiastic high school/MA level students were about the
Islamic Economics Study Program.
Through this program, it is hoped that there will be equality of information regarding the existence of
the Islamic economics study program at Universitas Airlangga and the transfer of experiences
regarding campus life that will be faced by high school students of the same level.
Because for us, sharing is not just about giving.
Because for us, sharing is not just coming and going.
Rather, it instills an understanding of how vast life is and that there is still
so much room left to realize the hopes, dreams and dreams that one has.
