(FEB NEWS) Another form of support from the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) to equip prospective FEB UNAIR graduates to have a competitive advantage among graduates from other universities is by holding a Talk Show/Provisioning with the theme "Ready to Compete in the World of Work with Competency Certification". It was held at the Fadjar Notonagoro Hall, 2nd Floor of FEB UNAIR, (May 29, 2023).
Dr. Wiwiek Dianawati, Dra., M.Si., Ak. – Head of the FEB UNAIR Competency Improvement Institute (LPK FEB UNAIR), in her remarks stated that competency certification is recommended for fifth-semester students to supplement their bachelor's degree. She also hopes that the waiting period for employment will be shorter, and that having this competency certification will enable students to earn a better income when they start working.
Another benefit of participating in the Competency Certification program is that the certificate carries a credit value of 15 credit points per course, and students are required to take at least two courses, at a relatively low cost.
The briefing featured three outstanding speakers who discussed: Managing Uncertainty through Risk Management, Taxation, and E-Commerce.
where the three speakers are: 1. Dr. Fitri Ismiyanti, SE., M.Si – Lecturer of the Department of Management FEB UNAIR, Risk Management Trainer, Treasurer of LPMB FEB UNAIR; 2. Dr. Elia Mustikasari, SE., M.Si., Ak. – Lecturer of the Department of Accounting FEB UNAIR and 3. Andre Firmasyah – The Rise of Social Commerce. The moderator is Dina Fitrisia Septiarini, SE., MM., Ak.
Also present on the same occasion was Nur Aini Hidayati, SE., M.Si., Ph.D., the PIH FEB UNAIR Coordinator, who provided information on the Development of the Integrity Zone at FEB UNAIR. She also invited questions and received prizes for attractive souvenirs.
Hopefully, this talk show/briefing event will benefit prospective FEB UNAIR graduates.
