(Inspirational Story) Sunday 15 June 2025, LPPM FEB UNAIR Sector - Nothing is more memorable for Difa Dwi Puspitasari, a student of the Islamic Economics S1 Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga, who was graduated on Saturday, June 14, 2025, besides the moment of learning together in the FEB Unair discussion room. Learning activities not only strengthen academic understanding, but also strengthen friendship between students across majors at FEB Airlangga University.
"Every time before UTS and UAS, my friends and I always learn together at the RBC. We are usually different classes or even different study programs, but instead complement each other," said Kak Difa when interviewed by the LPPM Sector Team. He who has a great interest in accounting often becomes a mentor of his friends, while when it is difficult in the Islamic Economics course, he was helped by a friend who came from the background of the pesantren.
Their learning system is quite simple but effective: who mastered the material, he taught. If no one really understands, they will divide the chapter to be studied and presented in turns. "The problem is that if you learn directly all the chapters can be very dizzy," joked Kak Difa.
Challenges certainly exist, especially about the limited time of borrowing the RBC space. "If the time runs out, we usually continue in zoom or move to the library so we can learn until night," he added. Even so, the results are satisfying. Many of their study groups graduated with the title of cumlaude.
Not only active in academics, Kak Difa also represented FEB Unair at the Chancellor of Futsal Sports Cup. "From elementary to high school I have often participated in futsal tournaments, so when I was offered to play with BEM FEB Airlangga University, I immediately took the opportunity," he said. Although the training is only two to three times and the players are limited, their team won second place. "Some teammates are indeed from sports UKM, so they have strong stamina. In fact, there is rarely a change of players because there is no backup too," he recalled with a laugh.
Kak Difa also gave a message for other Feb students:
"Always a serious form of study group, not just friends playing. Don't hesitate to make friends across study programs, because they can become tutors. And if you want to join the organization, take the relevant and don't forget academics, just 1-2 in semester 4-5."
Difa's journey during college proves that success is not only determined by personal abilities, but also from the spirit of collaboration, good time management, and courage to take opportunities. Always success for Sis Difa, hopefully his ideals and careers will run smoothly!
