(Feb News) JIMBARAN, BALI - The PPK Team of Ormawa Kandangan Genora from Universitas Airlangga was honored to take part in the prestigious event of Abdidaya PPK Ormawa 2024 at Udayana University, Bali. Abdidaya itself is a prestigious annual event that brings together student teams from various universities in Indonesia, where they compete to exhibit community service activities that have been carried out in recent months. This event became a forum for the Ormawa PPK teams to show their real contribution in supporting sustainable development and community empowerment in various regions in Indonesia. This event took place from 7 to 9 November 2024, at the Udayana University campus, Jimbaran, Bali, with various interesting activities to be followed.

The event opened on November 7 with a technical meeting and preparation for the exhibition booth and opening ceremony. On November 8, an Abdidaya Ormawa 2024 Expo was held on the west side of the Widya Sabha Building. There, PPK Ormawa teams from various universities displayed posters, videos and innovative products as part of the judging assessment. This expo lasts from 15:00 to 22:00 WITA. On the same day, the atmosphere was more lively with the presence of the entertainment stage and art creativity, which provided opportunities for participants to display their artistic talents. The Kandangan Genora team from Universitas Airlangga also performed on this stage, presented a stunning performance and succeeded in entertaining the other participants, creating a moment of togetherness and spirit of solidarity.
On the peak night, Saturday, November 9, 2024, the Widya Sabha Auditorium Building was a witness to the evening of the award that was full of emotion and excitement. The Kandangan Gemora team, representing Universitas Airlangga , won two prestigious awards: the second position in the category "Ormawa with the strongest sustainability strategy" and the first rank for the category "The most unique video." This achievement confirms their commitment in supporting the Sustainable Development Objectives (SDGs), especially in point number 4, "quality education," and number 17, "Partnership to achieve goals."
With this achievement, Universitas Airlangga through the Kandangan Genora Team proves their commitment in creating positive and sustainable impacts for the community and strengthening the spirit of collaboration on a national scale.
