The Tax Amnesty Bill is needed to provide a strong legal basis or umbrella to assist tax authorities in realizing potential tax revenues and to provide a final opportunity for taxpayers engaging in onshore and offshore tax evasion. In this discussion, academics and members of Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) met to discuss the Tax Amnesty Bill. 

The event, held at the Faculty of Economics Universitas Airlangga was attended by various factions in the House of Representatives (DPR) and lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga Surabaya. The event began at 1:30 p.m. in the Fadjar Notonegoro Hall.
