SKP News. In order to welcome the new students of 2018, PKP held a welcome party. In welcoming the new students, not only new students came, but also existing students participated in the welcome party. The welcome party was held on August 24, 2018, in the Soepoyo Hall of FEB Unair. The theme of this event was God's vision and human ambition. Where in accordance with the theme, God's vision itself is love. God's perfect love in human life. While human ambition does not have love like God's love for humans. The theme was chosen so that Christian students of FEB understand God's vision in humans.
The event started at 6:00 PM WIB, but at 5:30 PM the doors were opened and students began to arrive. The event started on time, namely 6:00 PM. This welcome party was filled with worship. Where the service began with the singing of worship songs, then continued with praise songs. After singing spiritual songs, videos about information about PKP were shown. Next, a KPIMB video was shown along with information about KPIMB registration. At 6:20 PM WIB, the games began. The games focused on Bible statements. After a few minutes, the games were over, and three teams were crowned champions. Prizes were then awarded. The games themselves ran long and exceeded the time specified in the rundown. Several sub-programs were cut short to ensure the event could finish on time. The sermon continued with a worship song before the sermon.
The sermon began at 7:05 PM, with the sermon itself shortened by 5 minutes to a 45-minute sermon. The sermon, delivered by His servant, adhered to the theme set by the committee: God's vision and human ambition. At 7:50 PM, the worship song was performed before the closing prayer. The closing prayer was led by Mr. Gito, the servant who had delivered the Word of God. At 7:55 PM, the participants and committee took a group photo, followed by the distribution of refreshments and a handshake.
