It is an honor to have Dr. Marhanum Che Mohd Salleh from the International Islamic University Malaysia, since July 12, 2018, in a series of scientific activities at FEB Unair.
Dr. Marhanum is an expert in the field of Sharia Insurance, with the guest lecture on July 13, 2018 for postgraduate students, it is hoped that students' insight into sharia insurance can be increased. In Malaysia, the Sharia Insurance program is growing very rapidly, even the results of the distribution of insurance benefits are arranged in such a way, some are in the form of grants and some also follow sharia inheritance laws. By sharing knowledge, it can inspire students to conduct research on sharia insurance .
His series of activities continued with a Curriculum Workshop held on July 17, 2018. This curriculum workshop aimed to provide mutual input on upcoming course curricula. The courses discussed were Islamic Insurance Management, Islamic Banking Management, and Risk Management. Dr. Marhanum also presented on the Principles of Takaful, Islamic Financing Management, and Bank Management. Through this sharing session, we each gained valuable input.
On July 19, 2018, the next activity was Joint Research. Each lecturer who wanted to do joint research with Dr. Marhanum was required to present a proposal or article for joint research. Dr. Marhanum selected several articles to be used for joint research, which she hoped would be published in Scopus .
NgoPi, Smart Chat Scopus Journal, July 27, 2018, is a continuation of Dr. Marhanum's series of visits to FEB Unair. This smart chat provides an overview to FEB Unair Lecturers, as well as tips and tricks to get into the Scopus journal. Each Scopus journal has a different focus and scope so that every author needs to know this . And closed with the last activity that remains related to the Scopus Journal, namely Scopus Camp, July 30, 2018. Scopus camp is a continuation of the Joint Research agenda. Authors of articles that have been selected by Dr. Marhanum will be invited to the Scopus camp to discuss the continuation of joint research and publication targets .
For almost 1 month he was at the FEB Unair campus, and hopefully all of his series of scientific activities will be beneficial for all of us, and will be sustainable.
