(Feb News) The men's basketball team Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair) recorded a brilliant achievement by winning the inaugural victory in 2025. In the prestigious event of the FISIP UI 2025 which took place at the University of Indonesia!
The FISIP UI League is an annual competition organized by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia. This year, the competition took place on 3-10 May 2025 and was attended by more than 10 faculty representative basketball teams from various universities throughout Indonesia, from Makassar to Surabaya.
Although faced with tough opponents from various parts of the country, the FEB Unair basketball team showed a solid and consistent performance. Members of 12 great players: Fahran Adhya Athalla, Muhammad Asyrafurrahim, Reza Rajhendra Rachman, Fathunni'am Khoirroza PA, Renanda Aryasakti, Ega Bintang Pandora S, Aditya Pangestu, Dimas Aulia Wiratma, Akhtar Nirwana Putra Agung, Made Surya Wikan Adyatma, Muhammad Syayid Rizky, and Aditya Daffa Nanda, they passed the match after match with an attractive game and full of determination, until finally successfully advanced to the semifinals.
In the semifinals, Feb Unair must recognize the superiority of FEB Perbanas. However, the defeat did not dampen the enthusiasm of the players. They rose again to compete for the third position against the SWSW FKIK team. With a high fighting spirit and a mature game strategy, the FEB Unair basketball team appeared dominant and succeeded in locking the victory, bringing home the 3rd place in the FISIP UI 2025 League.
The participation of the FEB Unair basketball team in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UI 2025 not only has an impact on improving sports achievements, but also made a positive contribution to character development, leadership, and student collaboration spirit. Through this national event, FEB UNAIR students gained valuable experience in building networks between faculties and interdivia, as well as strengthening the positive image of FEB Airlangga University in the national arena as an institution that supports the development of students holistically, both in the academic and non-academic fields.
