(FEB NEWS) Monday, July 29, 2024 – The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) of East Java Province, which took place at the Fadjar Notonagoro Hall, 2nd floor of FEB UNAIR. The event, which took place on Monday, July 29, 2024, marked the extension of the collaboration, which has entered its third period, in the context of implementing a student internship program at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) of East Java Province.

The signing of the cooperation agreement was carried out by the Dean of FEB UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA., and the Head of the East Java Provincial DJPb Regional Office, Didyk Choiroel, S.Sos., MM, M.Si. This event was witnessed by the ranks of Vice Deans and Management of FEB UNAIR, as well as the Management of the East Java Provincial DJPb Regional Office.

In her remarks, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia expressed her appreciation for the ongoing collaboration over the previous two terms and hoped that this collaboration would continue to provide significant benefits. "This collaboration is in line with the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) program, a policy issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, providing opportunities for students to gain knowledge on campus while developing soft skills through direct practice in the industrial world and government agencies," she said. She also added that this structured internship program is very important to improve student competency, especially in gaining a practical overview in government agencies such as the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of East Java Province.

Meanwhile, the Head of the East Java Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes and Excise (DGT), Didyk Choiroel, expressed his commitment to continuing to support this student internship program. "We are striving to standardize, institutionalize, and structure this internship program so that the goals of the university/university leadership can be achieved. We hope that students can gain useful knowledge and be useful when they graduate, and on the other hand, we at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes and Excise can serve students well and we also benefit from being able to carry out our duties well and smoothly thanks to the help of students/mutual benefits for both parties," he said.

The collaboration between FEB UNAIR and the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of East Java Province is expected to continue to grow and provide real contributions in producing superior human resources who are ready to face future challenges.
