(Feb News) Student Inbound Mobility Full Time 2023 is a program organized by the S1 Islamic Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga in collaboration with the University of Kuala Lumpur and the University of Malaysia which is carried out virtually and physically for 3 full months. On October 11, 2023 Student Inbound Mobility was officially opened by the Chairperson of the Sharia Economy Department Prof. Dr. Sri Hernianingrum, SE, MSi. Located at the Aseec Tower, Tarumanagara Room. He mentioned that the importance of student exchange activities is useful for exchanging innovation, culture, experience, and learning foreign languages. In addition, this program is held every year to provide new experiences to foreign students to learn like local students.

1. Bayu Arie Fianto, SE, MBA, Ph.D. as the coordinator of the Islamic Economic Study Program
2. Dian Filianti, SE, M.acc. As the Secretary of the Student Inbound Part Time 2023 Islamic Economics Study Program,
it was attended by 11 foreign and local students, namely 6 students from the University of Manpower, 4 students from Kuala Lumpur University and 6 students from Universitas Airlangga as the host. Physical activities are carried out from October 10-15 in Surabaya and other activities are carried out virtually starting from October to December.
The favorite destinations that have been visited are touring the campuses of Airlangga A, B, and C, Tugu Pahlawan, Mirota Batik, and will soon visit the Mangrove Botanical Gardens accompanied by students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga .
After the opening, followed by 2 summer classes, the first class about Islamic Finance brought by Ms. Dian Filianti, SE, M.acc and the second class about the food security brought by Dr. Achsania Hendratmi, SE., M.Sc.
The event which lasted for 7 days aims to strengthen cooperation between the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga and the Universiti Kuala Lumpur and the Malaysian National Manpower, which can ultimately become a foundation to actively participate in the issues of sustainability, food security, and Islamic finance in the international arena.
