The event continued with tasting various local products and watching the demo processing of coffee and milk.

The Ormawa Kandangan Gelora PPK program focuses on the formation of BUMDes and the reactivation of local commodities such as coffee, cardamom and Etawa goat's milk. The aim is to increase the selling value of local commodities in Kandangan Village through processing assistance, grants of coffee grinding equipment, as well as training in processing coffee and milk into yoghurt. Apart from that, this program also provides training to improve the skills of village residents, including training in bookkeeping, administration, e-commerce, as well as assistance with halal certification.

This program provides students with direct experience in applying the knowledge and skills learned on campus to real situations. Students not only learn about BUMDes management and commodity processing, but also understand the challenges and solutions in local economic development. Their involvement also supports the development of soft skills such as leadership, teamwork and effective communication. In addition, students gain valuable experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating projects, which becomes an important asset in the professional world.

PPK Ormawa Kandangan Gelora is also in line with several points in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 8 which is related to Decent Work and Economic Growth, as well as SDG 12 which focuses on Responsible Consumption and Production. By establishing BUMDes and increasing the selling value of local commodities, this program supports the creation of new jobs and improves the quality of life of the community through inclusive economic growth. Training on local commodity processing and halal certification assistance supports sustainable and responsible production practices, as well as increasing awareness of the importance of efficient resource management.

PPK Ormawa Kandangan Gelora is not just a community service initiative, but also a strategic step in encouraging village economic empowerment through the development of BUMDes and local commodities. This program provides direct benefits for society and students, strengthens the link between theory and practice, and creates a positive impact that supports global sustainable development goals. FEB UNAIR's active involvement in this program shows their commitment to local development and sustainable human resource development.
