EGD or Ekis Goes to Desa is a work program of the Islamic Economics Student Association to implement the tri dharma of higher education, namely community service. In the 2024 period, EGD was held on July 21-26, 2024, located in Krosok Hamlet, Sendang District, Tulungagung Regency, East Java, with the theme "Collaborative synergy in optimizing work programs to improve and manage the resources of the Krosok Hamlet community."
Through this activity, the committee contributed directly to the community of Krosok Village, Sendang District, especially in building and developing village potential, both from the economic, educational, environmental, and health sectors. It also became a forum for UNAIR Islamic Economics students to participate in developing the potential of competitive human resources through the programs provided.
This activity is related to SDGs number 3, The relevance of SDGs number 3, namely Good Health and well-being, will later be channeled through several EGD programs in the form of Health promotion, with the hope of helping to achieve a strong Health system, and ensuring better access to Health services. SDGs number 4, namely Quality Education, will be integrated into the performance of EGD which collectively participates in carrying out teaching practices to students, in order to strengthen the quality and quality of education that is equitable. In addition, this activity is also related to SDGs number 17, namely Partnership for the Goals because in this activity, we as students majoring in Islamic Economics will partner with the village for village development.
