Thursday, 29 February 2024, the Department of Sharia Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) warmly welcomed the group from the Postgraduate Program of the State Islamic University KH. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan, Central Java, during a visit to carry out applied studies related to the accreditation of superior study programs in Islamic Economics Masters.
Located in the ABC Meeting Room – 1st Floor ABC, FEB UNAIR, the visit was held on Thursday, February 29 2024, starting at 09.00 WIB until finished, aimed at deepening understanding and exchanging information related to the development of superior study programs in the field of Islamic Economics.
During the visit, the delegation from the Postgraduate School of UIN KH. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan, led by Prof. Dr. Hj. Susminingsih, M.Ag - Deputy Director of Postgraduate, along with a team consisting of 4 people, was welcomed by the Chairperson of the Sharia Economy Department - Prof. Dr. Sri Herianingrum, SE, M.Sc.; Secretary of the Sharia Economy Department - Sulistya Rusgianto, SE., MIF., Ph.D.; and Coordinator of the Masters Study Program in Islamic Economics. The meeting which took place with full hospitality and intimacy was filled with in -depth discussions about curriculum development, teaching methods, and research in the field of Islamic economics.
Prof. Dr. Hj. Susminingsih, M.Ag, expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and friendliness given by the Sharia Economics Department, FEB UNAIR. He also expressed his desire to hold future collaborations including learning and research. Hopefully this visit can be the start of closer collaboration between the two institutions in developing higher education in Indonesia, especially in the field of Islamic Economics.
We hope that this visit can be a very meaningful first step for both institutions in supporting the development of superior study programs in the field of Sharia Economics and improving the quality of higher education in Indonesia.
