(Feb News) Opportunities for Structured Internships - MBKM at the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH) of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia (Ministry of Religion of RI), has now been wide open for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair), after the signing of the Halal Product Cooperation Agreement, between the BPJPH of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia and Feb Unair, about MBKM and several points regarding the Tri Dharma Higher Education, (13/7/2022) in Fadjar Notonagoro Hall, 2nd Floor Feb Unair.
The MBKM Internship Program is a form of activity from Merdeka Belajar, based on the policy of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia to provide opportunities for students to experience the world of work directly as preparation for future careers.
Through the structured MBKM Internship Program, students are expected to be able to support and support the realization of excellent service at BPJPH. Through Student Interns, BPJPH hopes to provide excellent service, maximum and quality service for all business actors. Students are expected to be able to implement all the knowledge they have gained on campus, and develop their insight in the field where they are interning, so that they can make a real contribution to the progress of BPJPH.
Through this collaboration program, FEB UNAIR hopes to provide quality education for its students, by providing opportunities to gain knowledge, gain insight and hone skills directly in the field, and it is hoped that students will not only be able to improve their hard skills and soft skills, but also are expected to have new capacities to become human resources who are ready for the future, build relationships with Independent Campus partners, and become future leaders who respect diversity and respect other people.
This program is held for 1-2 semesters, with a credit conversion equivalent to 20 credits for 1 semester, so that students can gain work experience and skills to prepare them for facing the world after college.
The signing was carried out at a One Day Seminar: Halal Research Exposure "Exposure to Research/Innovation of Halal Alternative Products and Raw Materials: Strengthening the Indonesian Halal Industry, Towards a Center for Halal Producers in 2024", which was attended by Lecturers, Students (S1, S2 and S3 FEB UNAIR also from outside FEB UNAIR), and people who are concerned about halal products.
The signing procession was carried out by: Dr. Muhammad Aqil Irham, M.Sc as the Head of the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH) of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, who was accompanied by Dr. H. Mastuki, M.Ag. - Head of the BPJPH Halal Registration and Certification Center for the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, as for FEB Unair by: Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak. CMA. Ca. - Dean of UNAIR FEB accompanied by Dr. Sri Herianingrum, SE., M.Sc. - Chairman of the Sharia Economy Department FEB UNAIR. The cooperation includes MBKM (Merdeka Learning Merdeka Campus) and several points about Tri Dharma Higher Education.
The One Day Seminar event is an activity designed as a collaboration between various institutions, such as the Sharia Economics Department FEB UNAIR, UNAIR HALAL CENTER and BPJPH Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, several state campuses in Indonesia, such as UIN Malang, UGM and several other campuses in East Java, in realizing FEB UNAIR and BPJPH support for quality education.
