
(Feb News), Saturday, May 3, 2025-Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair) held an Elementary Student Management Skills Training (LKMM-TD) in the Fadjar Notonegoro Hall. This activity is one form of organizational development aimed at active students and management of FEB UNAIR student organizations, as a first step to equip them with basic management skills, leadership, and organizational communication.
LKMM-TD is designed as an applicative learning space to strengthen the capacity of students in compiling and managing organizational work programs. Through an interactive approach, participants not only listen to the material, but also active in group discussions to direct practice in the preparation of program activities.
As an effort to create a comprehensive learning experience, the series of materials in this activity was delivered by FEB Airlangga University lecturers who were experts in their fields. Each session is designed to describe the overall management cycle of activities from the formulation of ideas, planning, organizational structuring, communication, to evaluation and reporting. These materials form an integrated unit to prepare students to become capable and competitive organizational actors.
The training was opened by Al Ma'rifatul A'la, S.EI., MA with material analysis of environmental conditions and the formulation of initial ideas, which guided participants to understand the organizational situation objectively and develop systematic ideas of activities. Followed by Tantri Sun Estuning Dasih, SA, MA who discussed the benchmark of success and planning work schedules, it is important to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the organization's program.
The session of the organization and organization of the committee was delivered by Puji Sucia Sukmaningrum, SE, CIFP., Which emphasizes the importance of the team's work structure and a clear division of roles. Meanwhile, Nur Aini Hidayati, SE, M.Si., Ph.D. Bringing ethical and communication material between work units, which equip participants with an understanding of productive and ethical communication in organizational dynamics.
Administrative aspects are also an important concern in this training. Annisa Rahma Febriyanti, S.EI., M.Sei. Delivering secretarial administration material and financial administration, as a guide to managing documents and budget in an orderly and transparent manner. Then, Angga Erlando, SE, M.Ec.Dev. Discussing the psychological aspects of the organization through the material of the nature of motivation, decision making, and conflict control, which strengthens resilience and personal skills in the team's work environment.
In closing, Muhammad Shaykh Rohman, SE, M.Ec. Delivering techniques for the preparation and improvement of the proposal of activities, where participants not only compile proposals, but also present it as a form of evaluation and direct application of the material that has been given.
The implementation of LKMM-TD is not just a technical training event, but is a tangible manifestation of the commitment of FEB Unair in creating a sustainable self-development space for students. This program is in line with the spirit of sustainable development objectives (SDGs), especially in providing quality education, encouraging the participation of young people in inclusive economic development, and strengthening transparent, fair, and responsible institutions.
With an applicative approach and competent resource persons support, LKMM-TD FEB UNAIR 2025 is expected not only to print students who are technically skilled, but also able to become agents of change that have a significant impact on strengthening student organizational governance, improving leadership quality, and active contributions to sustainable development in the campus environment and the wider community. This activity is an important foundation in forming a generation of leaders who are adaptive, integrity, and visionary in dealing with environmental dynamics.
