
(FEB NEWS), Saturday, May 3, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) held a Basic Student Management Skills Training (LKMM-TD) at the Fadjar Notonegoro Hall. This activity is a form of organizational development aimed at active students and administrators of FEB UNAIR student organizations, as an initial step to equip them with basic management, leadership, and organizational communication skills.
LKMM-TD is designed as an applied learning space to strengthen students' capacity in developing and managing organizational work programs. Through an interactive approach, participants not only listen to material but also actively participate in group discussions and hands-on practice in developing program activities.
In an effort to create a comprehensive learning experience, the series of materials in this activity are delivered by FEB UNAIR lecturers who are experts in their fields. Each session is designed to illustrate the complete activity management cycle, from idea formulation and planning, organizational structuring, communication, to evaluation and reporting. These materials form an integrated whole to prepare students to become competent and competitive organizational actors.
The training was opened by Al Ma'rifatul A'la, S.EI., MA with the material Environmental Condition Analysis and Formulation of Initial Ideas, which guided participants to understand the organizational situation objectively and develop activity ideas systematically. Followed by Tantri Sun Estuning Dasih, SA, MA who discussed Benchmarks for Success and Work Schedule Planning, important to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of organizational programs.
The session on Organizational Basics and Committee Management was delivered by Puji Sucia Sukmaningrum, SE, CiFP., who emphasized the importance of teamwork structure and clear role allocation. Meanwhile, Nur Aini Hidayati, SE, M.Si., Ph.D. presented on Ethics and Communication between Work Units, which equipped participants with an understanding of productive and ethical communication within organizational dynamics.
Administrative aspects were also a key focus of this training. Annisa Rahma Febriyanti, S.EI., M.SEI. delivered Secretarial Administration and Financial Administration, as a guide to managing documents and budgets in an orderly and transparent manner. Then, Angga Erlando, SE, M.Ec.Dev. discussed the psychological aspects of organizations through the material on the Nature of Motivation, Decision Making, and Conflict Management, which strengthens personal resilience and skills in a teamwork environment.
In closing, Muhammad Syaikh Rohman, SE, M.Ec. delivered material on Techniques for Compiling and Refining Activity Proposals, where participants not only compiled proposals but also presented them as a form of evaluation and direct application of the material provided.
The LKMM-TD program is not merely a technical training event, but a concrete manifestation of FEB UNAIR's commitment to creating a sustainable self-development space for its students. This program aligns with the spirit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in providing quality education, encouraging youth participation in inclusive economic development, and strengthening transparent, fair, and accountable institutions.
With an applied approach and the support of competent speakers, LKMM-TD FEB UNAIR 2025 is expected to not only produce technically skilled students, but also be able to become agents of change that bring real impacts to strengthening student organization governance, improving leadership quality, and actively contributing to sustainable development within the campus environment and the wider community. This activity is an important foundation in forming a generation of leaders who are adaptive, have integrity, and are visionary in facing environmental dynamics.
