Learn Mbah Gito's marketing style

As the FEB UNAIR administrators were having dinner, a man in his 70s suddenly greeted us warmly. With a broad smile, he asked if all the dishes we had ordered were served on the table. It turned out he was the owner of Mbah Gito Restaurant.
We then felt the warmth of the owner of this Javanese-inspired restaurant. Greetings, photos, and discussions continued. Mbah Gito patiently fulfilled all requests and answered questions.
His local wisdom was evident in his explanation of the importance of 'gethok tular' (translation of the word) in marketing his restaurant. Therefore, Javanese hospitality is consistently practiced, including greeting guests. He is also not tempted to open a franchise network, as material gain is not his primary concern.

Thank you, Mbah Gito, for your marketing knowledge, which is steeped in Javanese local wisdom. May it inspire our young entrepreneurs…
