Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Receive Transfer Credit Scholarship Program Offers from the Director of Learning and Student Affairs of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.
The results of the meeting between the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, universitas airlangga (Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia) and the Director of Learning and Student Affairs of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Dr. Ir. Paristiyanti Nurwardani, MP) revealed that accounting students of the Faculty of Economics and Business received an offer of a credit transfer scholarship program from the Director of Learning and Student Affairs of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. Paristiyanti said that so far, no accounting major has ever participated in the credit transfer program even though it is included as one of the professions that has carried out a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) for free flows of services since 2014.
According to Paristiyanti, five accounting students from across Indonesia will be allocated a full scholarship program for fourth- and sixth-semester students. Students will receive living expenses and four months of program fees. Therefore, accounting majors interested in participating in this program must immediately prepare a curriculum for submission to Korean universities. A joint curriculum will be established with mutual recognition, allowing credit transfer of courses taken in Korea to Indonesian universities.
In the near future, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia will conduct outreach to students about the recruitment process through the Study Program Coordinator of the Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga. (zen)
