(Feb News) The prestigious event that is no less interesting in the ranks of this year's Expo management series, namely Management Olympiad (MO), has been successfully held by the S1 Student Association Universitas AirlanggaManagement. Mo became a promising national competition circuit, opening opportunities for high school/vocational students throughout the country to build scientific foundations and streamline the ability to handle various challenges in the world of management, (SDG #5 - Gender Equality).
In organizing MO 2023, the theme that was carried was "Empowering the Future: Youth Potential for Driving Business Sustainability." The concept, clearly, is inspired by the young generation of Indonesia to think sharply, create stunning innovations, give birth to creative ideas, and honed their skills in overcoming problems that arise in the realm of management, SDG #4 (Quality Education) & (SDG #17-Partnerships for the Goals).
This event lasts for a month, starting from October 1 to November 5 2023, presenting a series of thrilling stages. Starting from the initial selection stage, continuing to the information architecture stage, the very fierce semifinals, until the peak of the competition at the final stage.
There were 8 teams that managed to qualify for the semifinals, namely 2 teams from SMA Pradita Dirgantara, Thursina IIBS Malang, SMAN 20 Bandung, SMAN 1 Sidoarjo, MA Unggulan Amanatul Umma, SMAN 1 Sooko, and SMAN 1 Gresik. After various tight matches, finally, the MO 2023 champions emerged. In the Final Stage, the Argananta Team from SMAN 1 Gresik won the title of 1st Place with their brilliant achievements, followed by Strigiformes from Thursina IIBS Malang who performed impressively as 2nd Place. Meanwhile, the third position was achieved by the SOS Team from SMAN 1 Sidoarjo who were no less shining. SMAN 20 Bandung also received an award as Runner Up, showing a fighting spirit that deserves a thumbs up.
