Instill ethical leadership in the full era of disruption, Department of Accounting and Management of FEB UNAIR Holds Teaching CEOs Together with Director of Management of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero)

(Feb News)  Wednesday, April 30, 2025 - The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Airlangga University) again showed its commitment in forming a future leader with integrity through the holding of the Teaching CEO event titled "Ethical Leadership: Navigating Integrity in A Disrupted Era" . The event took place on Wednesday morning, April 30, 2025, in the Fadjar Notonagoro Hall 2nd floor, FEB Unair, and was attended by hundreds of students from the S1 Accounting Study Program and S1 Management.

Organized by the Department of Accounting and Department of Management of FEB UNAIR, this event presented the main speaker Drs. Ec. Putut Sri Muljanto, MM., CMA., Director of Management of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), who delivered a deep insight about ethical leadership in the midst of a challenging global dynamics. This session was moderated by Izzato Millati, S.IP., M.IP.

In his presentation, Mr. Putut raised various actual issues in the world of work and leadership, ranging from the importance of understanding and running the company's code of ethics, to the moral responsibility of the leader in dealing with pressure and conflict of interest. He stressed that successful leadership is not only about technical competence, but also the ability to maintain integrity in decision making. "Ethics is not just a norm, but rather the main foundation of the organization's sustainability in the long run," he said.

Pak Putut also shared his experience in dealing with difficult situations during his tenure, including how important Walk the Talk , or became a consistent example between speech and action. He encouraged students to understand that in the era of digital disruption and global uncertainty, ethics and moral values ​​remain important anchors in determining the direction of the organization.

From the host, Dr. Wisnu Wibowo , Deputy Dean I FEB Unair, as well as the management of the Department of Accounting and Management Department, Lecturer in Business Ethics and Professional Ethics , Organizational Behavior , Management Introduction , and Organizational Analysis , who were the main participants in this event with students.

Through this teaching CEO, students not only get knowledge from college, but also practical insight directly from industrial leaders. The warm discussion that occurred during the session proves the high enthusiasm of participants in understanding the dynamics of ethical leadership which is very relevant to the world of work today.

Feb Unair hopes that this activity can inspire students to develop a strong, moral, and ready -to -face leadership character of the complexity of the professional world in the future.
