Through this MOU, the two research centers will synergize in carrying out research initiatives aimed at measuring and improving Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance in leading companies in Singapore and Indonesia. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide concrete recommendations and solutions to overcome the sustainability challenges faced in the region.

Apart from focusing on research, this collaboration will also involve knowledge exchange between the two institutions. NUS Business School will gain access to CESGS' extensive data warehouse, strengthening its research capacity. By providing efficient channels for the exchange of reports and research findings, it is hoped that this collaboration will make a significant contribution to supporting sustainable development.

In the education sector, this partnership will create a platform for organizing workshops, research seminars and capacity building programs. Joint executive education programs on sustainability, such as sustainable finance and ESG regulation, will be one of the flagship initiatives of this collaboration. NUS Business School will also actively participate in revitalizing the Accounting study program at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga through designing a comprehensive sustainability module.

Professor Lawrence, Director of Center for Governance and Sustainability at Nus Business School, stated, "This partnership not only creates opportunities to overcome the challenges of sustainability in this region, but also to build human resource capacity that can play a role in achieving Universitas Airlanggagoals and forming a sustainable future.
