In his explanation, Dr. Ir. This awareness also has an impact on public awareness of the importance of halal certificates for the products they produce, so that in the future it is also deemed necessary to strengthen halal certification through the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH); data strengthening; Digitalization process, etc.

Dr. Ir. Wisnu Utomo, M.Sc. also conveyed that there were still obstacles faced in the development of halal products, for example how to get halal raw materials, which are good and cheap, there is still a lack of structured human resources related to the development of halal products, regulations are still complicated, so it is necessary more efficient regulations are developed.

Therefore, the role of FEB UNAIR is very necessary regarding the potential for halal product developments in Indonesia, and Dr. Ir. Wisnu Utomo, M.Sc., believes that this meeting is the first step for holding future meetings. This is in line with the hopes of Priyanto Rohmattullah, SE, MA, that it is necessary to listen to the viewpoints of the University to see potential opportunities for the development of halal products.
