GUS YANI ALUMNI FEB UNAIR04(Feb News) On June 15, 2024, Gresik Regent, Fandi Akhmad Yani, won a Master of Disaster Management from Postgraduate School - Universitas Airlangga. The graduation is part of the 242th graduation held at the Airlangga Convention Center (ACC) and is attended by 1,029 graduates from various levels, ranging from diploma levels to doctoral programs. Fandi Akhmad Yani, who is familiarly called Gus Yani, has shown impressive academic achievements during his studies at Airlangga University.

Before completing the Master's program in Disaster Management, Gus Yani was an alumnus of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga, where he completed undergraduate studies in the Management Study Program in the class of 2004. Throughout his career, Gus Yani has shown high dedication to public service and regional development, which is now strengthened by in-depth knowledge of disaster management.

Gus Yani is known as a leader who brought many positive changes to Gresik Regency. It is hoped that the Master's Degree in Disaster Management will strengthen his ability to handle various challenges, especially those related to disaster mitigation and management in his region. This graduation also confirms his commitment to continue learning and increasing his capacity for better service to the community.

As a figure who always prioritizes education and increasing competence, Gus Yani's contribution in various fields, including education, health and infrastructure, shows extraordinary dedication in developing his region.

This graduation event was also marked by a message from the Chancellor of Universitas Airlangga, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, who reminded the graduates to continue learning and not feel inferior in facing future challenges. The event was broadcast live via multiple platforms, including YouTube, to allow for broader participation from families and friends of graduates.

With this latest achievement, it is hoped that Gus Yani will continue to make a significant contribution to the development and improvement of the welfare of the people of Gresik, as well as becoming a real example of how education can play an important role in career advancement and community service.
