(FEB NEWS) On Tuesday, August 22, 2023, an event called “Gathering with Parents of New Students (maba) of 2023” was held to provide understanding, overview, sincerity towards the time of new students in studying/doing activities/creating, also to invite all parents of new students to help, support, monitor their sons/daughters during their undergraduate education at Universitas Airlangga especially at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR).
Present at the event were: UNAIR Rector – Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE, MT, Ak.; UNAIR Vice Rector for Academic, Student, and Alumni Affairs – Prof. Dr. Bambang Sektiari Lukiswanto, DEA, DVM and all his staff; as well as Vice Dean I of FEB UNAIR – Dr. Wisnu Wibowo ; and Vice Dean III of FEB UNAIR – Dr. Ahmad Rizki Sridadi.
At the beginning of the session, a presentation on academic activities was given by
the Vice Rector for Academic, Student, and Alumni Affairs of UNAIR – Prof. Dr. Bambang Sektiari Lukiswanto, DEA, DVM., so that the parents of new students have an idea about the right strategy to guide their sons and daughters during their studies at UNAIR.
Meanwhile, Drs. Ec. Putut Sri Muljanto, MM., CMA. – Managing Director of Pelindo, in his speech representing the Parents of New Students, invited all parents of new students present to believe that UNAIR is the right choice, “because UNAIR, in addition to its slogan UNAIR – HEBAT (Humble-Honest; E, which is Excellent; B, which is Brave; A, which is Agile; and T, which is Transcendents), UNAIR will educate and shape our sons/daughters, not only to be smart, but also to become people with noble character/have humility/not arrogant as the motto “Excellence With Morality” where that trait is one of the keys needed for successful people throughout the world”.
The Rector Universitas Airlangga , conveyed to all parents of new students, to believe that UNAIR will continue to encourage students to become tough learners who are noble/moral. Learners who are able to learn, not only learn from successful people, but also learn anywhere, anytime, including learning from those who have failed.
Meanwhile, Dr. Wisnu Wibowo , congratulated all parents of new students, and invited them to collaborate in providing learning facilities. FEB UNAIR is open to various collaborations in the MBKM Program to improve learning, "Let's express our gratitude by heeding collaborative decisions, to improve learning for our children."
Let's work together to create a young generation that is not only intelligent, but also possesses high morals, dignity, and is beneficial to society, the nation, and the people.
