FGD on Redesigning the Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University Curriculum 2024(FEB NEWS) Thursday, December 5, 2024 – The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) reaffirmed its commitment to producing future leaders who are innovative, sustainable, and have a social impact through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) entitled “Shaping Future Leaders: Innovative, Sustainable, and Socially Impactful Curriculum Design”. This event took place in the Fadjar Notonagoro Hall, 2nd floor of FEB UNAIR, and was attended by stakeholders from various circles.

The event began with remarks from the Dean of FEB UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA. In her remarks, she outlined FEB UNAIR's strategic achievements over the past few years, as well as the direction of curriculum development oriented towards innovation, sustainability, and social impact.

"The curriculum of the future must be able to meet the needs of the workforce while simultaneously bringing positive change to society. FEB UNAIR is committed to continuously adapting to the challenges of the times, integrating theory and practice, and producing graduates who are not only competent but also possess high social empathy," said Prof. Dian.

In the event, company leaders from various sectors and government agencies and state-owned enterprises who have become strategic partners of FEB UNAIR in implementing the MBKM program were also invited to carry out a Strategic Meeting agenda, together with the leadership of FEB UNAIR.

After the opening session, a Parallel Session was held, where invited guests were divided into discussion groups per Department: Department of Economics, Management, Accounting, and Islamic Economics, to discuss curriculum design according to the needs of each field.

By implementing this FGD, FEB UNAIR demonstrates concrete steps in creating curriculum innovations that are relevant to the needs of the times and have an impact on society.
