FEB UNAIR STUDENTS WIN THE TITLE OF BEST MENTEE AND YOUTH AMBASSADOR TELKOM 2025

(FEB NEWS) Surabaya, Wednesday, August 27, 2025 – Students of the Islamic Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga , have once again achieved a proud achievement at the national level. In the Digistar Intern Telkom 2025 program organized by Telkom Indonesia, FEB UNAIR students successfully won the title of Best Mentee and were also appointed as Telkom Youth Ambassadors 2025 or Digistar Icon Universitas Airlangga 2025.

This prestigious internship program attracted 15,277 applicants from various backgrounds and provided an opportunity for participants to develop skills relevant to industry needs, particularly in digital marketing and business relationship development. Throughout the program, FEB UNAIR students received direct guidance from Noor Fajar Ridwan (Head of Telkom Gresik Region) and support from colleagues at Telkom Gresik, which helped shape their professional mindset and practical skills.

The internship will be conducted for six months (February–July 2025) within the Telkom Indonesia workplace, one of the largest state-owned enterprises in the information and communications technology sector. The professional and innovative work environment, along with a culture based on the values ​​of AKHLAK (Trustworthy, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, and Collaborative), are crucial factors driving the character development and competency development of the participants.

Throughout her internship, the FEB UNAIR student was actively involved in various marketing projects, building professional networks, and honing her critical thinking, communication, and time management skills. In her role as a Marketing Intern, she focused on developing B2B relationships and successfully established partnerships between Telkom Indonesia and several partner companies. Through presentations of company values, consultative selling, negotiation facilitation, and maintaining intensive communication with clients, she was able to demonstrate tangible contributions that were appreciated by her mentors and company management.

This achievement demonstrates that FEB UNAIR students are not only capable of completing assignments well, but also provide added value through novel ideas, solution-oriented approaches, and courageous decision-making. This achievement aligns with FEB UNAIR's vision of producing superior, adaptive, and globally competitive graduates in the digital era.
