
(FEB NEWS) An alumna of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga has once again demonstrated a tangible contribution to national development. Ismirani Saputri, SE, MM, an alumna of the Accounting Study Program, class of 2000, currently serves as Head of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in Kediri. In her role, she is responsible for ensuring optimal supervision of Financial Services Institutions in the 13 regencies/cities within the OJK's Kediri jurisdiction, while simultaneously encouraging increased financial literacy and inclusion in the community.
Ismirani's career journey began through the Young Employee Candidate Education (PCPM) path of Bank Indonesia in 2007. Along with the establishment of the OJK and the transfer of banking supervision functions from Bank Indonesia to the OJK, she was transferred in 2014 and officially chose to join the OJK in early 2016. This decision was taken as a form of commitment to participate in building the newly established financial supervision institution and become part of the major transformation of the Indonesian financial system.
In carrying out her duties as an institutional leader, Ismirani emphasizes the importance of professionalism, integrity, and continuous contribution to society. Throughout her more than 18-year career in the public sector, she views her work as a form of devotion undertaken wholeheartedly. The principles of working happily and making the best possible contribution are values she continues to uphold to this day.
As an alumna of FEB UNAIR, Ismirani is also active in contributing to her alma mater and the wider community. She frequently shares her knowledge as a resource person, provides internship and job opportunities for students, and builds an inclusive professional network with various stakeholders. For her, networking is not just about professional relationships, but rather a means of mutual benefit through open and ongoing communication.
He has achieved numerous accomplishments throughout his career, including a 3.97 GPA while pursuing a Master of Management degree at Ciputra Surabaya, the 2024 Radar Kediri Award in the Good Governance with Wide-Ranging Achievements category, and a perfect performance rating (4) as Head of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in Kediri in 2024. These accomplishments reflect his commitment to good governance and impact-driven leadership.
Ismirani believes that leadership is a mandate that must be carried out responsibly and exemplarily. "This leadership position is a trust. Every decision, every reprimand, and every appreciation must leave a positive imprint. The true meaning of leadership lies in how many people we help become the best versions of themselves," she said. Through her work and contributions, Ismirani Saputri represents FEB UNAIR alumni who not only excel professionally but also make a real impact on society and sustainable development.
