Surabaya, Monday, August 25, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) received a visit from a delegation from Minhaj University Lahore (MUL), Pakistan, in a series of Strategic Meetings held in the FEB UNAIR Leadership Meeting Room.

The MUL delegation present were Prof. Dr. Khurram Shahzad as Registrar of Minhaj University Lahore and Dr. Waqas Shair, Assistant Professor, Ph.D. in Economics, Minhaj University Lahore. Their presence was welcomed by the Coordinator of the Islamic Economics Undergraduate Study Program, Bayu Arie Fianto, SE, MBA., Ph.D.; Head of the International Office, Martha Ranggi Primanthi, SE, MIDEC., Ph.D.; and Mr. Eko Fajar Cahyono, SE, ME – Lecturer of the Department of Islamic Economics, FEB UNAIR.

The agreements include cooperation on the exchange of examining lecturers, joint efforts to introduce the AMERTA and Airlangga Development Scholars scholarship programs to Pakistani students, as well as academic synergy in the form of exchange of papers and holding collaborative conferences.

Through this meeting, it is hoped that the collaboration between FEB UNAIR and Minhaj University Lahore will be more productive in supporting academic strengthening, research, and international mobility.
