

Surabaya, Tuesday, August 12, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) received a visit from Semen Indonesia International University (UISI) Gresik. The meeting took place in the Leadership Meeting Room, Lobby of the ABC Building, 1st Floor, FEB UNAIR, starting at 1:00 PM WIB.
The visit was led by Hera Arsa Pambudi, SE, M.MT., CHRP., as Vice Rector II of UISI, along with lecturers from the Master of Management Study Program, HR managers, academics, and BKP4 UISI. The group was received directly by the leadership of FEB UNAIR, namely the Dean of FEB UNAIR Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE, M.Si., Ak., CMA., CA., Vice Dean I Dr. Wisnu Wibowo, and Vice Dean III Dr. Ahmad Rizky Sridadi. Also present were the Head of the Management Department Prof. Dr. Gancar Candra Premananto, Secretary of the Management Department Dr. Yetty Dwi Lestari, SE, MT, Coordinator of the Master of Management Study Program Dr. Masmira Kurniawati, SE, M.Si., and Head of the Management and Business Development Laboratory Dr. Windijarto, SE, MBA
The main agenda of the visit was benchmarking the Master of Management (MM) study program. UISI studied various aspects of program management, from development strategies and best practices, Prior Learning Recognition (RPL) mechanisms, the business and operational models of the consulting unit, to the utilization of the Learning Management System (LMS) and Academic Information System (SIAKAD).
Furthermore, discussions covered challenges in managing postgraduate programs, implementing Outcome-Based Education (OBE), accreditation strategies, managing Distance Learning (PJJ), and developing organizational and university culture. This meeting served as a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences between universities, while also strengthening collaborative relationships in efforts to improve the quality of higher education.
This benchmarking visit is expected to be a strategic step for UISI to strengthen the quality of management of the Master of Management Study Program, as well as being a means of ongoing collaboration with FEB UNAIR in realizing quality education that is globally competitive.
This benchmarking activity aligns with FEB UNAIR's commitment to supporting the improvement of postgraduate program management quality, as well as SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by building strategic partnerships between universities. The exchange of knowledge and best practices that occurred during this meeting is expected to not only strengthen the quality of education at both institutions but also make a real contribution to the development of superior and competitive human resources at the national and global levels.
