(FEB NEWS) The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) received an academic visit from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Surabaya State University (FEB UNESA) on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. This visit aims to conduct benchmarking related to the curriculum development of the Master of Economics Study Program which is currently being proposed by FEB UNESA.

The UNESA group consisted of seven lecturers and program managers, led by Dr. Tony Seno Aji, SE, ME (Head of the Economics S1 Program) and Risqi Noor Hidayati Putri, SE, ME (Head of the Economics S2 Task Force Team), as well as a number of other team members. In the meeting that took place in the ABC Leadership Meeting Room (RAPIM), 1st floor of FEB UNAIR, they were warmly welcomed by the leadership of the Department of Economics FEB UNAIR, namely Prof. Rossanto Dwi Handoyo, SE, M.Si., Ph.D. as Head of the Department of Economics, Dr. Deni Kusumawardani, SE, M.Si. as Head of the Economics S2 Program, and staff from the Vice Dean I, Muhammad Syaikh Rohman, SE, M.Ec.

This meeting served as a forum for exchanging ideas on curriculum structure, learning outcomes, and strategies for developing master's programs that are responsive to market needs and developments in economics. FEB UNAIR provided a comprehensive presentation on academic approaches, educational quality management, and best practices in curriculum development and evaluation.

This activity reflects the spirit of collaboration and improving the quality of higher education, while also strengthening synergy between universities in East Java. FEB UNAIR remains open to collaboration and sharing experiences to support the strengthening of academic capacity at the national level.
