
(FEB NEWS) Wednesday, June 11, 2025 — The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) received a visit from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Halu Oleo University (FEB UHO) Kendari for benchmarking and comparative studies, Wednesday (11/6), at the Leadership Meeting Room, Lobby of the ABC Building, FEB UNAIR.
This visit aimed to deepen understanding of the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in the curriculum and the management strategies for the Independent Learning and Independent Campus (MBKM) program at FEB UNAIR. These two topics are the primary focus in developing the quality of higher education that is responsive to the needs of the times and the world of work.
The delegation from FEB UHO was led by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Natsir, SE., M.Si., a member of the Faculty Senate, and Wa Ode Rachmasari, SE., M.Si., Head of the Department of Economics and Development. They were welcomed by representatives from FEB UNAIR, including:
- Prof. Rossanto Dwi Handoyo, SE., M.Si., Ph.D., Head of the Department of Economics
- Rumayya, SE., M.Reg.Dev., Ph.D., Coordinator of the Development Economics Undergraduate Study Program
- Muhammad Syaikh Rohman, SE., M.Ec., Staff of Deputy Dean I
- La Ode Sabaruddin, SE., M.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., Lecturer, Department of Accounting
In an open and productive discussion atmosphere, participants exchanged ideas regarding curriculum design strategies based on learning outcomes, learning evaluation systems, and the implementation of adaptive and collaborative MBKM programs.
This activity not only serves as a platform for sharing best practices between universities but also strengthens academic networks to support improving the quality of economics education in Indonesia. FEB UNAIR expressed its appreciation for the trust placed in FEB UHO and hopes that future collaborations can continue in various forms.
