(FEB News) Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair) congratulates and success to Prof. Dr. Mohammad Madyan, SE, M.Si., M.Fin. For his inauguration as the Chancellor Universitas Airlangga the period 2025-2030. The official inauguration ceremony was held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the Garuda Mukti Hall, Campus C Unair.
Prof. Madyan is an alumni of the 1986 FEB Unair Management Study Program that has shown high dedication in the academic world and tertiary management. Before being trusted to lead Universitas Airlangga as the Chancellor, he had carried out a number of strategic positions in the Airlangga University, including:
- Director of Human Resources Universitas Airlangga (2014),
- Finance Director Universitas Airlangga (2014-2015),
- Deputy Rector II for Resources Universitas Airlangga (2020-2025).
He was also confirmed as a professor in the field of management science and has contributed to scientific development in the financial sector, both through research, scientific publications, and learning in the FEB Airlangga.
Appointment of Prof. Madyan as the Chancellor Universitas Airlangga is a clear proof that FEB Unair alumni continue to play an active and strategic role in advancing Indonesian higher education. Feb Unair expressed his highest appreciation for this achievement and hoped that his leadership would bring Universitas Airlangga to an increasingly superior international reputation.
