Friday, February 15, 2019, Airlangga Education Expo (AEE) 2019 was successfully opened by Prof. Nasih as the rector Universitas Airlangga. AEE 2019 was held free of charge for the public for 3 consecutive days, namely from February 15-17, 2019. Various interesting series of events such as seminars, talk shows, to educational consultations were present at AEE 2019. So it is not surprising that on its first day AEE 2019 has succeeded in capturing the attention of thousands of participants who attended, such as high school / vocational school / equivalent students to their teaching staff.
Not only was there a series of exciting events, but there was also an exhibition featuring 28 booths representing all units, faculties, and institutions at UNAIR. All booths were ready to present a variety of information and presented in an attractive manner. They often highlighted the unique characteristics of each unit, faculty, or institution.
Packaged very attractively, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) booth managed to attract special attention from visitors. Not only that, in just 4 hours the FEB booth was able to attract around 150 visitors who came and interacted. Not only was the exhibition, students and employees at the FEB booth carried out various activities such as educational consultations, student entrepreneurial product exhibitions, and holding quizzes with FEB souvenir prizes became the most popular session among high school/vocational school/equivalent students who came to visit the FEB booth.
Asked about her impressions, Nur Aini, a student of SMAN 1 Tuban who was one of the visitors to the FEB booth at AEE 2019, admitted that the FEB booth was the best booth and was able to attract her attention among the other booths.
"I came to this event on purpose to get to know the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UNAIR. And once I stopped by the FEB booth, I was happy because I got a lot of information about student affairs, achievements, and also participated in an economics quiz," said Aini, Nur Aini's nickname, who admitted that she wanted to enroll in the FEB UNAIR Accounting Undergraduate Program.
The 2019 Airlangga Education Expo is expected to meet the public's needs for information on admissions, scholarships, student affairs, and other matters related to Universitas Airlangga. Twenty-eight booths will be available to visitors to learn more about all the units, faculties, and institutions within Universitas Airlangga.
