FEB UNAIR CONTINUES TO BE COMMITTED TO REALIZING QUALITY EDUCATION AND PRODUCING SUPERIOR HR FOR INDONESIA

(FEB NEWS) Today, (10/10/2022), the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR), has signed 2 (two) Cooperation Agreements: 1.) Cooperation Agreement on Human Resource Development, between FEB UNAIR and PT, Petro Oxo Nusantara; 2.) Cooperation Agreement on MBKM INTERNSHIP – Individual Student Internship between FEB UNAIR and PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk – Regional Office Surabaya.

The signing process of the two cooperation agreements was carried out by: Dean of FEB UNAIR – Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA., together with: 1.) HRGA Director of PT. Petro Oxo Nusantara – Pranowo Tri Nusantoro; 2.) Regional CEO – BRI Regional Office Surabaya – Bustomi., from AULA Fadjar Notonagoro, 2nd floor of FEB UNAIR. The event was attended by Vice Dean III of FEB UNAIR – Dr. Ahmad Rizki Sridadi, Head of LPMB FEB UNAIR – Dr. Windijarto, SE., MBA., FEB UNAIR Management and staff from PT, Petro Oxo Nusantara and BRI Regional Office Surabaya.

Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA. stated that UNAIR is currently ranked 369th in the world and this achievement is also a positive contribution from the business/industry world including banking, as will be collaborated. For this reason, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA. is very pleased and expressed his appreciation to PT, Petro Oxo Nusantara and Bank BRI Regional Office Surabaya, for their commitment to jointly take part in realizing quality education and producing superior human resources for Indonesia, which in fact is a shared responsibility to prepare the next generation according to the needs of the world of work and ready to answer future challenges.

Pranowo Tri Nusantoro, stated that he was very happy to be able to be in the forum, and take part in the cooperation/collaboration for Human Resource Development. Pranowo, stated that he was very open to FEB UNAIR students, who wanted to do an internship at PT. Petro Oxo Nusantara. Pranowo Tri Nusantoro, with his red and white spirit, invited all those present to contribute to the nation's future generations, providing knowledge/providing something truly real in the industrial world, because according to Pranowo, what is in theory does not necessarily match what is in the field.

Bustomi echoed this sentiment, stating that passing on knowledge to the next generation is crucial, and the rewards will flow continuously. "The passion for imparting knowledge is crucial, and the rewards flow.".

In the future, according to Bustomi, "in the development of human resources/HR, the challenges in the industrial world will be increasingly sharp, qualifications in certain industries will be needed, to truly get human resources whose competencies can be measured, and if currently, we cannot prepare individuals like that (having physical and mental resilience), then the homework will be even more difficult.".

According to Bustomi, physical, mental, and spiritual resilience are essential in today's world. This is based on the fact that employees and prospective employees often become discouraged and resign when given the slightest pressure. Therefore, BRI believes that through this collaboration, it will have the opportunity to help develop the physical, mental, and mental resilience of the next generation.

Bustomi further expressed his hope that "through the Individual Student Internship Collaboration Program, BRI can get the best talent from FEB UNAIR, as the next generation in the future, where BRI has the opportunity to help train students to move towards business links and matches in this development. The next step, if students want to join BRI, BRI will be very open, where the submission of applications, currently everything is digital and free. Hopefully, this collaboration can provide empowerment to the next generation of Indonesia, to work as the best talent, and companies really need that. For Sustainable business in the future. Hopefully, BRI is in charge, which strengthens micro businesses, which are supported by the best talents from FEB UNAIR.".
