(FEB NEWS) The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) expressed its appreciation and congratulations to Mr. Zaelani, an alumni of FEB UNAIR, on his appointment as Commissioner of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on June 12, 2025.
Mr. Buyung Zaelani, SE, is a Bachelor of Economics graduate from FEB UNAIR who has carved out an extraordinary career path in the national strategic realm. Prior to being entrusted as Commissioner at the MIND ID member company, he served as Special Staff to the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) for the 2020–2024 period, and as Main Secretary of BIN for the 2014–2020 period. In addition, he also served as Commissioner of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM) from 2012 to 2020.
The appointment of Mr. Zaelani as Commissioner of PTBA is a source of pride for the FEB UNAIR academic community. His track record reflects dedication, integrity, and strong leadership—values that are integral to the campus's spirit of Excellence with Morality .
Hopefully, the mandate carried out by Mr. Zaelani can bring progress to PT Bukit Asam and become an inspiration for FEB UNAIR students and alumni to continue working and making the best contribution to the nation.
