(FEB NEWS) Friday, July 25, 2025 — The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) continues to demonstrate its commitment to expanding its international collaboration network. This afternoon, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between FEB UNAIR and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Indonesia. This activity took place in the Leadership Meeting Room, ABC Lobby, 1st Floor, FEB UNAIR.
This collaboration aims to enhance students' academic and professional competencies, particularly in accounting, through partnerships with globally recognized international certification bodies. This collaboration is expected to strengthen the relevance of higher education curricula to the needs of the global workforce and encourage the creation of graduates who are ready to compete internationally.
The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement was carried out by the Dean of FEB UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA., along with Julia Simatupang as Country Manager & Chief Representative of ACCA Indonesia. This moment marked the beginning of synergy between higher education institutions and international accounting professional associations in supporting the improvement of education quality and student career development.

Through this partnership, FEB UNAIR Accounting students will have greater opportunities to gain international recognition as well as access to globally recognized professional certification.
This strategic collaboration represents a concrete step by FEB UNAIR in supporting the achievement of SDGs 4 (Quality Education) and 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), as well as strengthening a globally adaptive and competitive higher education ecosystem. Going forward, both institutions are committed to continuing to develop joint programs that provide concrete benefits for the development of the accounting profession in Indonesia and globally.
