(FEB NEWS) Surabaya – The first day of the Airlangga StartUp Summit and Innovation Expo (ASSIE III 2025), which opened on November 14, 2025, at the Main Atrium of Grand City Surabaya, marked a significant milestone for the academic community Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) in strengthening research-innovation-industry collaboration. The event runs until November 16, 2025, and is open to the public.
As part of this contribution, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB UNAIR) presented two exhibition booths (Booth 1 and Booth 12A) showcasing innovative products from students through the WEBS Student Organization (Ormawa). The products on display included Link Rasa (Resin Jewelry), Chewy (Slime & Toys), Doughpamine (Soft Cookies), and Yum.ci (Delicious Food).
At the opening session of ASSIE III 2025, UNAIR FEB leadership was present to provide direct support to WEBS students who showcased their startup work and products. Present at the event were:
Novrys Suhardianto, SE., MSA., Ak., Ph.D., Deputy Dean III FEB UNAIR;
Dr. Dien Mardhiyah, SE., M.Si., Chair of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Industrial Relations;
Tantri Sun Estuning Dasih, SA, MA, Secretary of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Industrial Relations.
The presence of these leaders serves as a form of appreciation and encouragement for FEB UNAIR students to continue developing their creativity and strengthening their entrepreneurial competencies. FEB UNAIR's involvement in ASSIE III 2025 also reflects the faculty's commitment to strengthening the link and match between academia, research, and industry—in line with the institution's vision of encouraging innovation and socio-economic development through business education.
ASSIE III 2025, initiated by the UNAIR Center for Innovation and Business Acceleration (PASINBIS) under the coordination of the Vice Rector for Entrepreneurial Ecosystem and Business Development, featured more than 100 booths, a business matching program, and opportunities for cross-university collaboration. The UNAIR Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) booth was one of the main attractions, showcasing superior student-made products.
This event will continue until Sunday, November 16, 2025. The academic community and the general public are invited to visit Booth 1 and Booth 12A FEB UNAIR, see the students' innovative products firsthand, and provide support by purchasing their work.
FEB UNAIR's participation in ASSIE III 2025 demonstrates that the faculty is not only focused on academic activities but also plays an active role in building an innovation ecosystem. Through this activity, students are given space to develop creative ideas, test markets, and expand industry networks—a concrete step in supporting the implementation of SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth) on campus.
We hope that this three-day exhibition series will run smoothly and provide real benefits for students, faculty, industry partners, and the wider community.
