FEB ACHIEVEMENTS: FEB UNAIR STUDENTS PASSED 2022 KEMENRISTEKDIKTI PKM-RSH FUNDING

(FEB NEWS) The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) has once again achieved the achievement of securing funding for the student creativity program organized by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education. Referring to letter 2489/E2/KM.05.01/2022 on May 26, 2022, the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Ditjen Dikti) has announced the Funding for the Student Creativity Program (PKM), one of which includes the PKM FEB UNAIR team.

Four FEB UNAIR students who successfully passed the funding of the Student Creativity Program-Social Humanities Research (PKM-RSH) with Supervisor Rumayya Batubara, SE, M.Reg. Dev., Ph.D. include: 1.) Difa Inggrayuwana (Management 2019), 2.) Sinta Fanidatus Solichah (Management 2020), 3.) Berliani Rosin (Management 2019), and 4.) Intan Sukma Cahyani (Management 2019). This time the PKM FEB UNAIR team led by Berliani Rosin raised the Research Title "Destination Branding in Local Wisdom Patterns: Efforts to Realize Sustainable Tourism Development in Majapahit Village, Bejijong Village"

Berliani stated that "the urgency of research related to destination branding is expected to have an impact on local wisdom within the community and refer to sustainable tourism development efforts in Majapahit Village, Bejijong Village.". 

"This research seeks to explore the factors underlying the problem, analyze the potential of local wisdom based on the triple bottom line concept, analyze the perspective gap between the village government, the community, and visitors, and provide recommendations that can be implemented by stakeholders," Sinta continued.

"We are very grateful and happy to be among the 15 teams that passed the 2022 PKM funding proposal from Universitas Airlangga, considering the tight competition between teams within the university and with universities throughout Indonesia," said Difa.

"We hope this student creativity program will contribute to nation-building by generating innovative ideas and new knowledge that can be implemented and used as evaluation material for both the government and the public," Intan concluded.
